Dog Walking
Do your daily commitments keep you away from home for long hours? Does your best friend need some exercise, a potty break, fresh water and a meal, or a little TLC? Let While You Were Out Pet Care check in on your companion during those long weekdays. We'll make sure your dog(s) get a walk, in/outdoor playtime, treats (if allowed), and plenty of love and affection! Are you working on crate training, walking on a leash, or general obedience training? Just let us know and we're happy to help during our time with your dog.

Pet Sitting
Deciding how to best provide for your pets when you are away from home can be one of the most difficult parts of being a pet owner. While You Were Out Pet Care can provide you with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pets are under the care of a reliable, loving, and professional pet sitter.
We will
learn about your pets' habits and behavior, medical issues, care and feeding schedules, and
much more so that we can take the very best possible care of your pets. We are also happy to bring in your mail and newspapers, water your plants, take garbage/recycling bins in and out, and perform other household tasks to give your home a "lived in" look. Best of all, your pets get to stay in the place where they feel most comfortable--their own home!

BusyDay Emergency Drop-in Service
Sometimes, it's just not possible to plan ahead for everything...and late nights at the office, a delay at the kids' school, or even just a last-minute golfing trip can leave you without care for your pets. But with our special BusyDay Service, we can help with your last-minute change of plans. As long as we have your keys, your pets' information on file, and an open space on our schedule, we're happy to drop by to visit your pets. Just give us a call, no matter how little notice you have!
BusyDay Service rates are in effect for visits scheduled the same business day, or after 3pm on the previous business day. Regular rates are in effect for visits scheduled in advance of the 3pm cutoff.

"Special Dog" Service
We frequently hear dog owners say that they wish they could use a pet sitter, but that they worry that their dog is too "difficult": too territorial, too dog- or food-aggressive, too nervous with strangers, etc. But at While You Were Out Pet Care, we think some of the best dogs are the ones with a few issues!
Over time, we have worked with many dogs whose owners thought they could never use a pet sitter--and most of them are regular clients today! Thanks to these special dogs and owners, we've developed our proven "Special Dog" Service. Just contact us--we'd love to learn more about your special dog, and develop a plan to help make everyone feel comfortable.

Poop Scooping
Cleaning the yard isn't your favorite task? Let While You Were Out Pet Care do it for you!
- One-time yard cleaning..............$12/15 mins*
- Weekly yard cleaning................$10/15 mins*
* Please contact us for time estimates. Scooping must be scheduled concurrently with a Dog Walking or Pet Sitting visit, or an additional $5 fee will be charged. We do not haul away waste, but will place it in your receptacle.

How to get started

Transportation
Does your pet need to get to the groomer, to obedience class, to the veterinarian's office, or elsewhere? We'll get them where they need to be (and back, of course!) for a flat rate of $25/hour*.
We will also provide you with detailed notes regarding your pet's trip; any information provided by your veterinarian, groomer, or trainer; etc.
* $25 minimum charge for transportation.
